Western Cape

South Africa is one of the most diverse, enchanting countries in the world. Exotic combinations of landscapes, people, history and culture offer the traveller a unique experience. South Africa boasts some of the best, least crowded beaches in the world, renowned wildlife parks, beautiful natural scenery and a stable post-apartheid environment.

South Africa is an all year round destination so when you visit depends on what you intend and prefer to do. The best time for game viewing is in early spring (August to October). The southern right whales can be seen off our coasts from June to the end of October, and the humpback whales from August to December.

Hermanus has the status of being the best land-based whale watching destination in the world. Southern right whales visit Walker Bay from June through to December and can be viewed from aboard a boat, an airplane or the shore. Hermanus is home to the world’s only Whale Crier who blows his kelp horn when whales are spotted along the central sea route.

The heart of South Africa's wine industry, Stellenbosch is a place of great beauty and culture that's steeped in South African tradition. The Stellenbosch Wine Route is arguably the country's most famous, and the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin area includes 106 cellars - most of which are open to the public

Aquila is not yet another luxury game reserve and lodge, its primary purpose is to offer an educational experience to all who visit in the hope that knowledge will enrich our understanding of the importance of living in harmony with Mother Nature.

The large en suite bathrooms feature corner baths with outdoor showers.

What better way to visit South African than this type of tour to the Hip & Happening Western Cape of South Africa.
