Day 1:
Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel where you will be staying for 4 nights. On arrival, check in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight: The Table Bay Hotel – Bed only. Situated on Quay Six of Cape Town’s V & A Waterfront, the Table Bay Hotel can offer rooms with a view either of Table Mountain or the sea as far out as Robin Island. All 329 rooms offer ensuite bathrooms with separate shower, walk in cupboards, butler station, honour bar, safe, satellite TV, radio, vanity units with hair dryers, direct private line for telephone, fax and modem and air-conditioning. The salt-water pool is heated and is surrounded by a mahogany pool deck with chaises lounges. Guests can also relax in the Jacuzzi or have a professional poolside massage. The Health Spa has a spectacular view of Robben Island and is equipped with steam and therapy rooms and offers a range of fragrant aromatherapy massages and holistic treatments. Enjoy mealtimes at a selection of fine restaurants: The Atlantic Restaurant, The Conservatory, The Lounge, The Union Bar and the Pool Bar. Day 2 - 4:
This morning (Day 2), after breakfast, your hired car (Group B) will be delivered to your hotel @ 09H00. The remainder of your day is at leisure. Day 5:
After breakfast, depart for Oudtshoorn. Suggested sightseeing in Oudtshoorn:
- Cango Caves - Safari Ostrich Show Farm- They also offer lunch and dinner - Cango Wildlife Reserve Check-in to the Rosenhof Country Lodge.

Rosenhof Country Lodge is a beautifully restored Victorian house (dating back to 1852), situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, furnished with antiques and exquisite works of art. 12 ensuite double rooms have been built around a courtyard, and each room opens onto a private pool. Each bedroom is furnished individually, and all offer air conditioning, colour TV, telephone, tea/coffee station, hair dryer and room safe. The house boasts several sitting rooms with fireplaces. Relax in the rose or herb gardens, or take a cup of tea under the gazebo. The restaurant serves cordon-bleu meals and a selection of fine wines. A sauna, Jacuzzi and gymnasium are available, and appointments for massage therapy and beauty treatments can be booked through reception.
Day 6:
After breakfast, depart for Knysna. Suggested sightseeing in Knysna:
- Knysna Heads ferry trip (With or without lunch) - Knysna Oyster company - Knysna Elephant Park - Shopping at the Knysna Waterfront - Whale and dolphin cruise in the nearby town of Plettenberg Bay Check-in the Knysna Tonquani Lodge.

Day 8:
Depart Knysna and make your way to Shamwari Game Reserve situated in the Eastern Cape. The drive is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Enjoy lunch upon arrival, time to freshen up before joining an evening game drive.
On your return to the lodge, dinner will be served. Shamwari Game Reserve is a 20.000-hectare malaria free, private game reserve situated in the Eastern Cape, along the Bushmans River, halfway between Port Elizabeth (45 minutes drive outside the city) and Grahamstown. Long Lee Manor was built in 1910 by the descendants of early settlers from England. Lovingly restored and expanded, this Edwardian mansion has the feel of a country manor. Long Lee Manor overlooks the Bushman's River Valley. The lodge accommodates 38 guests in ensuite bedrooms, all with air-conditioning and underfloor heating. Meals are enjoyed in the main dining room or around the open fire at the Barn. Further facilities include a curio shop, 2 swimming pools, a floodlit tennis court and a garden lounge. Additional recreational and entertainment facilities include clay pigeon shooting and snooker. Day 9 and 10:
Full day at Shamwari. A typical day on safari starts at the crack of dawn as the birds announce the new day.
Guests are woken with freshly brewed coffee, and freshly baked rusks. Once up, guests make their way to the rendezvous area. After a quick briefing, they set off in open 4X4 vehicles for an exhilarating morning game drive. This is a beautiful time to experience the bushveld. As the day breaks, so the wildlife comes to life. With a bit of luck, experience Africa’s Big 5 up close and personal.
After game drive we return to the lodge, arriving back between 08h00-08h30 (depending on activity of game) for a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast guests have time to relax and enjoy the facilities of the lodge, or return to their chalet and take a well-deserved nap. For those who are feeling energetic, maybe take a bush walk with your ranger and find out about the finer aspects of the bush.
A light lunch is served around 14h00 and then guests usually rest until the afternoon game drive, which leaves the lodge at around 16h00. At sunset, we stop in a scenic spot and have sundowners, thereafter the game drive becomes a night, arriving back at the lodge around 20h00 for a sumptuous dinner.
Day 11:
After breakfast and an early morning game viewing activity, depart Kariega and drive to Port Elizabeth airport, drop off the rental car at the rental depot in time for your departure flight home.
