ALHAURIN GOLF CLUB : Located within Alhaurin El Grande, the Alhaurin Golf course is as natural as it gets. An uneven course fitting naturally into the terrain, it is characterised by 45 holes in all, 27 of which were designed by Severiano Ballesteros. There is a 18 par-3 holes and a 9 short holes besides the full length18 hole round course. Also characterised by the Mijas mountains, the course being located at its foothill presents a sharp contrast with its bright green fairways to these mountains and the natural dark green vegetation. The main advantage of the Alhaurin course is that there are up to 6 different teeing areas at each hole and thus the course can be adapted to any level of difficulty because of the versatility offered by these tees LAURO GOLF CLUB: Designed by Folco Nardo, the Lauro Golf Course has each of its holes named after a famous bullfighter! At 300 metres above sea level, the course offers spectacular views of the valley of Malaga and the Mediterranean sea. Lines of olive trees cut many of the fairways. The layout of the course therefore respects the natural topography. The clubhouse is an old restored farmhouse. MIRAFLORES GOLF CLUB : Miraflores Golf Club opened for play in 1990. Miraflores follows the gentle contours of the Sierra Mijas foothills. The fairways and greens are maintained in lush splendour throughout the year, and water is supplied from three artificial ponds which come into play on four holes. The Golf Academy offers tuition for everyone -- from the outright beginner to the most discerning low-handicap golfer wishing to hone his skills.
