This hotel is actually made up of two buildings on the corner of two streets. It is quite anonymous-looking and can easily be missed, but this is part of its understated charm.
The hotel's restaurant is modern and trendy serving top quality food in tasteful surroundings.

A Costumer's Review:

I've stayed at the Plattenhof 3 or 4 times now - it is a great hotel - the staff are friendly, its a good location for the old town, the rooms are stylish and comfortable and the food is good.
There's a tram stop a few minutes walk away.

How to get to the city centre from the airport?

By Train:
Trains run between Zurich main station and the airport every 10 minutes during peak periods (travel time: 10 minutes), and numerous inter-city and regional trains provide connections to all the main towns and cities in Switzerland.

By Taxi:
The airport taxi rank is located in front of Arrivals 1 and 2.
A taxi from Zurich Airport to central Zurich costs around CHF 50 (€ 35).
