Itinerary
Day 1 FLIGHT TO TOKYO
Depart for Tokyo. Enjoy the in-flight service including meals, bar service and the latest feature films.
Day 2 TOKYO
Arrive Tokyo early morning and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in this dynamic modern metropolis that nearly 12 million people call home.
Day 3 TOKYO
Enjoy a morning tour of Tokyo with a visit to the Meiji Shrine, Tokyo Tower and the Imperial East Garden. Our tour ends at the world-famous Ginza shopping district, home to the vast department stores and an incredible variety of modern speciailised shops. Return to the hotel at your leisure.
Day 4 TOKYO – HIROSHIMA
Take a short walk to Shingagawa Station and take the bullet train to Hiroshima. Upon arrival, take a short walk to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 5 HIROSHIMA
This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, which is partially constructed over water and features the famous floating torii gate first constructed in the 6th century. Return to Hiroshima, where you will visit the Peace Memorial Park and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial museum which features items related to the nuclear bomb. Return to the hotel at your leisure.
Day 6 HIROSHIMA – KYOTO
Take a short walk to Hiroshima Station and take the bullet train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, take a short walk to your hotel for overnight.
Day 7 KYOTO
After breakfast depart on a half-day sightseeing tour of Kyoto. Our tour includes the Nijo Castle and the Golden Pavillon. We also visit the Kyoto Old Imperial Palace, which was the residence of the imperial family and courtiers until 1870 when it was transformed into a park. The elegance and splendour of the old imperial period has been maintained in all the palace buildings. Enjoy remainder of the evening at leisure.
Day 8 FLIGHT HOME
After breakfast you will be transferred to Osaka airport for your flight home.
