Paris

City Overview:

Lovers flock from all over the world to Paris. You can wander the banks of the Seine, admire the paintings in the Louvre, eat outdoors and people watch or simply relax and go with whatever whim takes your fancy. Enjoy the famous sites of Paris and see the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame, not forgetting the houses of Chanel, Dior & YSL.
Short break in Paris, now is the perfect time to explore those museums, theatres and shops. One of the joys of the city is that the majority of these fabled sites are within walking distance of each other. Most travellers start from the stations, usually the Gare du Nord.
A good tip for day trippers is to head straight for Montmartre on the hill or butte. From the steps in front of the church, plans can be made on where to go.
Starting a walking tour at the Eiffel Tower means you can walk roughly west to east with some zig-zagging and end up around Notre Dame, passing most major sights on the way.

Renovated in 2003, this 3 star hotel is considered as a very good superior tourist property. Well served by public transport, it is convenient for a traveller who seeks to discover all famous sights in Paris for a reasonable price. It is 4 storey building built in a traditional Parisian style. The breakfast room is located on the lower ground floor.

A Costumer's Review:

This is a very well placed hotel in Montmartre. Its at the foot of the SacreCoure hill, in walking distance from the Gare de Norde (tugging a medium sized suitcase) and with a metro stop even closer. It is in close walking distance of Sacre Coure and all the stuff around there. As a hotel it was clean and the staff were friendly. Our 3rd floor room was quite small but very quiet even though it fronted onto the street. Furnishings were basic. The continental breakfast was fine. There was 24 hour attendance at the front desk and a lift. We were there for a weekend and it served our purposes very well... the great location and the genuinely friendly and helpful staff... Would I go back? Yes, without a doubt.
