ITINERARY Day 1 ROME Arrive Rome. Transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring "The Eternal City". Resting on seven hills, Rome is a veritable treasure house of art and architecture. You may decide to journey to The Vatican or visit the Colosseum. Dinner under your own arrangements this evening. Day 2 ROME After breakfast enjoy a tour of the monuments of the city. See the spectacular Trevi Fountain, the wonderfully preserved Pantheon, vibrant Piazza Navona, Castel S. Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica. The afternoon is at leisure. Dinner under your own arrangements. Day 3 ROME - ASSISI - SIENA - FLORENCE Early morning departure for Assisi, the mystic town of Saint Francis. Visit the Basilica of Saint Francis with its early Renaissance masterpieces. Proceed to charming Siena, the beautiful medieval city with its winding cobbled streets, courtyards and quaint arches. Continue to Florence for dinner and overnight stay. Day 4 FLORENCE After breakfast enjoy a tour of Florence. Visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Bapistery of St. John, the academy of Fine Arts Gallery housing the "David" by Michelangleo, and Santa croce, the 13th century Franciscan Church. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. Day 5 FLORENCE - PADUA - VENICE After breakfast depart for Venice via Padua, where you will visit the famous Cathedral of St. Anthony. Continue to breathtaking Venice, and upon arrival enjoy a guided walking tour of this unique city. You will see the Piazza and Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. Day 6 VENICE Enjoy a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Today is at leisure for last minute shopping and sightseeing. You may choose to take an optional tour to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello by motorlaunch. Day 7 VENICE Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Taxes and Insurance is extra. |

Day 8 DEPART VENICE
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
